As a Principal Network Developer, you will join the team to design and develop advanced network systems for scalable enterprise, data center, and cloud-based environments. You will build automation frameworks, create proactive monitoring systems, and develop reusable test cases to ensure high reliability across production and lab environments. Design and develop large-scale leaf-spine data center networks using BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, and high-bandwidth fabrics for AI/HPC clusters.
Automate high-impact network tasks and build advanced modules within automation frameworks using Python, Ansible, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.
Develop and maintain telemetry tools, dashboards, and alerting systems to monitor network health and detect anomalies proactively.
Design comprehensive test strategies and reusable cases to validate complex network features in both lab and production environments.
Lead incident response efforts, including root cause analysis (RCA) documentation and the creation of troubleshooting playbooks for support teams.
Manage firmware lifecycles, configuration standardization, and vulnerability remediation across various hardware platforms like Arista EOS and Cisco Nexus.
Perform network performance analysis to identify inefficiencies and forecast infrastructure capacity needs for future growth.
Mentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership on architecture decisions and complex troubleshooting escalations.
What we're looking for
Must have 3 to 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
Experience designing large-scale leaf-spine and multi-fabric data center networks (CLOS architecture).
Expertise with Ethernet switching, BGP, EVPN/VXLAN, IP addressing, routing scale, ECMP, QoS, and network segmentation.
Proficiency with hardware platforms such as Arista EOS, Cisco Nexus/NX-OS, or NVIDIA Spectrum/Cumulus.
Experience designing or operating AI/HPC/GPU cluster networking including RDMA/RoCE and lossless Ethernet.
Experience with network telemetry and observability tools like gNMI, streaming telemetry, SNMP, and syslog.
Proficiency in automation using Python, Ansible, Terraform, APIs, Git, and CI/CD.
Strong incident management and root cause analysis (RCA) skills.
