Principal Machine Learning Engineer

What you'll do

• Transform machine learning prototypes into production-ready models by scaling code and ensuring quality standards.
• Automate machine learning workflows including data extraction, transformation, loading (ETL), and deployment monitoring.
• Build infrastructure and frameworks to monitor the performance of deployed models against design criteria.
• Evaluate and mitigate risks related to data quality, bias, fairness, security, and privacy in modeling.
• Develop, maintain, and refine internal tools, platforms, and services for machine learning operations.
• Write high-quality, bug-free code from scratch while maintaining documentation for technical processes.
• Provide expert troubleshooting and debugging support for machine learning infrastructure and workflows.
• Mentor junior team members and participate in the candidate interview process to build the talent pipeline.

What we're looking for

• Must have 6 to 10+ years of experience in machine learning and software development.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.
• Experience implementing machine learning models for production and automating ML workflows like ETL.
• Proficiency in developing infrastructure and frameworks to monitor the performance of deployed models.
• Expertise in identifying data quality issues such as bias, fairness, security, and privacy.
• Skill in writing efficient, bug-free code from scratch while maintaining version control and documentation.
• Familiarity with third-party machine learning frameworks including PyTorch, TensorFlow, and Keras.
• Ability to mentor junior team members and participate in the candidate interview process.
