Principal Full Stack Software Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, engineer, deploy, and manage the architecture for specified products.
• Lead the design roadmap, discussions, and development for the engineering team.
• Ensure all code and development comply with corporate enterprise standards and policies.
• Develop and champion the adoption of design and coding best practices.
• Provide architecture subject matter expertise to business and development groups.
• Evaluate new technologies and consistently generate new ideas for the organization.
• Manage the day-to-day work of technical staff or serve as a project manager for significant projects.
• Optimize the design of financial applications in consultation with relevant stakeholders.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent degree related field (preferred).
• 15+ years’ experience in software design.
• Comprehensive knowledge of software architecture, management practices, and processes.
• Expert knowledge of N-tier web-based software applications built on a Java-centric technology stack.
• Deep understanding of AWS stack with a focus on serverless and microservices technologies.
• Advanced skills and wide experience working with SQL databases (SQL Server or Oracle) and advanced SQL tuning.
• Familiarity with OLAP databases such as Snowflake (preferred).
• Demonstrated advanced interpersonal, communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
