As a Principal Field Application Engineer (FAE) at Arm, you will support the integration of Arm-powered datacenter SoCs and compute platforms with cloud providers, OEMs, ODMs, and semiconductor partners. You will deliver technical presentations, manage design-in efforts, and provide post-sales support, requiring a strong understanding of server architecture, SoCs, CPUs, memory hierarchy, interconnects, networking, and platform software. Ideal candidates possess experience in customer-facing technical roles with expertise in Linux, firmware, virtualization, system software, and performance analysis. Familiarity with Arm Neoverse, hyperscaler workloads, and cloud-native applications is preferred, as you will influence product strategy by providing structured field feedback to internal teams.

What you'll do

  • Lead technical assessments for customers on integrating Arm-based datacenter SoCs and platforms.
  • Deliver detailed presentations and workshops to customer engineering teams on Arm technology.
  • Resolve complex technical issues related to hardware, firmware, software, and system integration for customers.
  • Collaborate with internal product and engineering teams to communicate customer requirements and feedback.
  • Guide customers in choosing silicon solutions and setting performance expectations for Arm-based systems.

What we're looking for

  • Proven experience in a customer-facing technical role such as Field Applications Engineer or Systems Engineer.
  • Solid grasp of server architecture, SoCs, CPUs, memory hierarchy, interconnects, networking, and platform software.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills for multifaceted audiences.
  • Experience with Linux, firmware, virtualization, or system software, including performance analysis and workload tuning.
  • Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot silicon or SoC-based solutions in a customer environment.
