What we're looking for
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or a related field and experience as a Principal or Data Engineer.
Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Information Systems, or a related field and experience as a Principal or Data Engineer.
Experience modernizing DB2 environments supporting mission-critical trading platforms in the financial services industry using cloud and hybrid replication architectures.
Expertise in DB2 database administration across z/OS and Linux environments using DB2 COBOL/NSP, Broadcom CA Insight, and IBM RC/Tools.
Expertise engineering enterprise replication solutions using IBM InfoSphere Data Replication Q Replication on z/OS and IIDR CDC for AWS and on-premises targets.
Expertise in performance tuning and root-cause analysis for high-volume trading applications using IBM Omegamon, Broadcom CA Detector/Insight, and SMF data analysis.
Expertise designing automation for DB2 operational tasks using Linux shell scripting, REXX, SQL, and Python.
Ability to participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation for production support and database maintenance.
