The position requires expertise in DoD RMF and JSIG requirements for SAP/SCI systems. Essential skills include technical leadership, systems thinking, and experience within an Integrated Product Team to ensure security posture across the entire system lifecycle.

What you'll do

  • Lead and support cybersecurity execution by identifying risks and driving technical and programmatic remediation across all stakeholders.
  • Design, develop, integrate, test, verify, and validate system security solutions.
  • Prepare, review, and defend accreditation packages as an Information Systems Security Engineer or Manager.
  • Apply DoD RMF and JSIG requirements to ensure compliance for SAP/SCI systems.
  • Translate RMF controls into system-level requirements including decomposition, verification planning, and traceability.
  • Perform vulnerability management, cybersecurity scanning, and assessment using tools like ACAS and Nessus.
  • Implement host and network hardening using DISA STIGs and SRGs for Windows, Linux, and containerized environments.
  • Drive process improvements to strengthen cybersecurity planning, risk management, and closure discipline.

What we're looking for

  • Must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 5 years of experience, Master’s with 3 years, or PhD with 1 year.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field with 8 years of experience, Master’s with 6 years, or PhD with 4 years.
  • Must possess DoD 8140 Cyber Workforce qualification, DoD 8570 IAM Level II, CompTIA SecurityX/CASP, CISSP, or CSSLP.
  • Experience preparing and defending accreditation packages as an ISSE or ISSM.
  • Experience working with DoD RMF and JSIG for SAP/SCI systems.
  • Current SAP access (preferred).
  • Advanced cybersecurity certifications such as CISSP-ISSEP or CISSP-ISSAP (preferred).
  • Experience with vulnerability management, scanning, compliance packages, and ATO documentation (preferred).
  • Familiarity with Windows, UNIX/Linux, hypervisor, and containerized environments (preferred).
  • Experience designing and reviewing hardening using DISA STIGs and SRGs (preferred).
