Principal Cyber Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Tune and optimize cybersecurity tools including ESS, Elastic, ConfigOS, and Tanium to improve performance and threat detection.
• Create custom dashboards to visualize security data for identifying issues and trends quickly.
• Integrate various security products to ensure seamless communication and data flow across the infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with specialized cyber tools.
• Manage upgrades and deployments of security tools to implement the latest features and patches.
• Perform Windows and RHEL system administration tasks.
• Configure, run, and script audit tools for system monitoring.
• Conduct Software Assurance static and dynamic code analysis using tools like Fortify.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree in a related field with 5 years of experience, a Master's degree with 3 years of experience, or 9 years of relevant work experience is required.
• Must possess a current, active Government-issued Top Secret security clearance at the time of application.
• Must possess a current, active Government-issued 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE, CySA+).
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
• Experience in Windows and RHEL system administration is required.
• Experience installing, tuning, and troubleshooting cyber tools including ESS/HBSS, ConfigOS, and Splunk/Elastic is required.
• Ability to configure, run, and script audit tools is required.
• Knowledge of Software Assurance (SwA) static and dynamic code analysis, such as Fortify, is required.
