Principal Cyber Systems Engineer (ISSE)

What you'll do

• Tune and optimize cybersecurity tools including ESS, Elastic, ConfigOS, and Tanium to improve threat detection.
• Create custom dashboards to visualize security data for quick identification of issues and trends.
• Integrate various security products to ensure seamless communication and data flow across the infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues with cybersecurity tools and security infrastructure.
• Manage upgrades and deployments to implement the latest features and security patches effectively.
• Configure, run, and script audit tools to maintain system integrity.
• Perform Software Assurance static and dynamic code analysis using tools like Fortify.
• Perform Windows and RHEL system administration tasks to support the C2BMC program.

What we're looking for

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Must have a current, active, in-scope Government-issued Top Secret security clearance.
• Must have a current, active Government-Issued 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher.
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 5 years of experience, Master’s degree with 3 years of experience, or 9 years of experience.
• Experience in Windows/RHEL system administration.
• Experience installing, tuning, and troubleshooting Cyber Tools including ESS/HBSS, ConfigOS, and Splunk/Elastic.
• Experience configuring, running, and scripting audit tools.
• Knowledge of Software Assurance (SwA) static and dynamic code analysis (e.g., Fortify).
