What you'll do

  • Drive new lending initiatives from a credit risk perspective, specifically focusing on cash flow based products.
  • Maintain the loan portfolio within established risk tolerance while scaling business growth.
  • Partner with data science and engineering teams to implement advanced technology and models for customer financing.
  • Lead and manage a high-performing team of credit strategists and analysts to achieve target returns.
  • Design credit policy proposals and perform portfolio analyses to improve key business performance indicators.
  • Extract insights from transactional data using cloud technology to identify actionable business opportunities.
  • Develop and oversee tests to explore new methodologies for acquisition strategies and credit policies.
  • Propose innovative financing products specifically tailored to the needs of QuickBooks customers.

What we're looking for

  • 12+ years of experience in lending or fintech related industries.
  • MS/PhD in quantitative fields such as Statistics, Operational Research, Industrial Engineering, or Economics.
  • Strong risk domain knowledge including credit bureau attributes, scoring, scorecard modeling, and loss forecasting.
  • Track record of building new lending products with data-driven solutions.
  • Ability to translate complex quantitative and qualitative data into actionable insights through strong communication skills.
  • Strong business acumen to build relationships and influence cross-functional partners.
  • 4+ years of experience leading a group of risk analysts and data scientists (preferred).
