What you'll do

  • Develop and implement credit risk strategies and policies to support growth in consumer lending and banking portfolios.
  • Establish a framework to ensure all lending activities comply with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Mine large-scale transactional data using big data technology to design new risk-adjusted policy proposals.
  • Analyze portfolio performance at granular levels to identify trends and conduct root-cause analyses on key drivers.
  • Deploy risk mitigations to improve the customer experience and enable product feature expansion.
  • Optimize data collection and processing to provide clear visibility into the impact of new lending initiatives.
  • Identify and evaluate new vendors and data sources to create business cases for enhancing risk policies.
  • Mentor and coach Risk Analysts to promote advanced data techniques and improved outcomes in consumer lending.

What we're looking for

  • Undergraduate degree in Economics, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field required; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • 10+ years of experience driving cross-team collaboration and business requirement clarity in the data and risk space.
  • Domain expertise in FinTech, Risk, and Financial services with a specific focus on Consumer Lending.
  • Demonstrated history of cross-functional leadership in large matrixed organizations to align stakeholders and launch product features.
  • Proficiency in analytics tools including Python, R, SAS, and SQL environments.
  • Experience working with BI tools such as Tableau, QuickSight, and Databricks.
  • Ability to tell compelling stories with data to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience managing large-scale data projects; product management experience is a significant plus.
