What you'll do

Architect and build scalable distributed systems using state management tools for high-demand cloud environments.
Design and deliver agentic AI systems capable of reasoning, planning, and multi-step task orchestration.
Define performance, availability, and durability requirements while optimizing services for high-throughput and low-latency workloads.
Build fault-tolerant infrastructure featuring redundancy, automated failover, and in-service upgrades to handle network unreliability.
Establish telemetry, dashboards, and alerts to monitor service health and ensure reliability across the platform.
Execute performance testing, load testing, and fault injection to validate system resilience and correctness.
Implement secure infrastructure controls including access management and encryption for multi-tenant cloud environments.
Develop automation tools and Infrastructure as Code to support safe deployment, patching, and operational recovery.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's, Master's, or Ph.D. in Computer Science, AI/ML, Engineering, or a related field is required.
6 to 10+ years of professional software engineering experience with ownership of production systems is required.
Deep experience designing and operating high-scale distributed systems, cloud services, and infrastructure platforms is required.
Proficiency in Java, Golang, or Python for developing high-quality code in complex distributed environments is required.
Expertise with Kubernetes, Docker, cloud-native infrastructure, and performance analysis is required.
Experience defining SLIs/SLOs, incident response practices, and reliability programs for AI or distributed systems is required.
Ability to provide accurate software effort estimates and utilize agile methodologies is required.
Excellent communication skills to lead technical direction and influence senior stakeholders are required.
