What you'll do

  • Design and develop high-performance, low-level data-plane components for cloud-scale database and storage services.
  • Drive the software design and development for new major data-plane components of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Define the foundations for next-generation data-planes by making deep architectural changes and high-level system designs.
  • Perform hands-on software development tasks including prototyping, debugging, and writing code in C/C++ or Rust.
  • Provide direct technical guidance to junior team members and lead engineering peer reviews.

  • Collaborate with executives to secure investment and align on technical goals and standards.

What we're looking for

  • Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
