Principal - Architecture (AI, Unified Commerce)

What you'll do

• Champion the use of Agentic Commerce patterns to create frictionless shopping experiences.
• Design AI-augmented commerce platforms that integrate real-time decision engines and recommendation systems.
• Define architectural principles for scaling AI/ML use cases on cloud-native platforms.
• Lead architectural reviews and governance for AI-based and connected commerce projects.
• Guide experimentation with Generative AI, LLMs, and autonomous agents in various use cases.
• Ensure architecture enables real-time signals processing and contextual understanding across commerce surfaces.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of architecture experience, including at least 5 years in commerce or omnichannel large-scale transformation roles.
• Deep knowledge of cloud-native architectures, microservices, event-driven systems, and serverless patterns.
• Demonstrated experience architecting and delivering headless eCommerce platforms and digital experience solutions.
• Experience integrating AI/ML services into customer-facing applications, preferably in real-time environments.
• Familiarity with Agentic AI frameworks and leading AI platforms like Vertex AI or Amazon Bedrock.
• Strategic mindset with strong communication skills to articulate complex technical concepts and business value.
• Ability to balance short-term business needs with long-term architectural vision in fast-moving environments.
