What you'll do

  • Design and implement architecture solutions to transform legacy systems into cloud-native, API-first, and event-driven platforms.
  • Establish architectural standards, reference patterns, and engineering best practices to improve scalability and maintainability.
  • Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture reviews, solution designs, and proof-of-concept development.
  • Define data architecture, modeling, and engineering strategies to support operational and AI-driven business capabilities.
  • Integrate Generative AI, Agentic AI, and intelligent automation into PBM products and business workflows.
  • Implement AI-powered engineering tools and SDLC agents to automate coding, testing, and documentation tasks.
  • Ensure all technical solutions remain secure, scalable, observable, and compliant with enterprise governance standards.
  • Mentor architects and engineers while fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous learning.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related fields.
  • 8+ years of experience in software engineering, solution architecture, and technology leadership (preferred).
  • Demonstrated progression from hands-on software engineering roles into architecture leadership positions (preferred).
  • Expertise designing cloud-native applications using Java, Go, Node.js, React, APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures (preferred).
  • Strong background in data architecture, data modeling, data engineering, and modern data platforms (preferred).
  • Experience implementing Generative AI, Agentic AI, LLM-based solutions, and intelligent automation in enterprise environments (preferred).
  • Experience within healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, payer, or pharmacy technology domains (preferred).
  • Proven ability to influence senior leaders and translate complex technical concepts into business value (preferred).
