Principal Applied AI Engineering Manager

What you'll do

• Hire, coach, and develop a team of Applied AI Engineers to build and lead the AI engineering pod.
• Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of production AI agents including LLM orchestration, RAG pipelines, and multi-agent workflows.
• Define technical standards for architecture patterns, code quality, deployment practices, and observability for the AI pod.
• Build and maintain evaluation frameworks using rubrics and golden datasets to validate agent correctness and safety.
• Ensure production health by managing incident response, root cause analysis, and performance monitoring for agent systems.
• Partner with product and platform teams to translate customer demand into engineering priorities and roadmap features.
• Drive measurable business impact by tracking KPIs such as case volume reduction and automation accuracy.
• Embed responsible AI practices, PII protection, and audit trails into all agent systems architecturally.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's Degree and 6+ years of experience in low-code development, technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
• Bachelor's Degree and 12+ years of experience in low-code development, technical program management, data analysis, or product development.
• Proficiency in Python and C# with hands-on experience building production AI/ML systems.
• Experience with LLM-based systems, including prompt engineering, RAG architectures, or agent frameworks.
• Experience with Azure cloud platform and cloud-native service development using microservices, containers, and CI/CD.
• 3+ years of people management and/or informal/indirect team leadership experience.
• 4+ years of experience using low-code/no-code platforms such as Dataverse or Power Applications.
• 3+ years of experience managing and configuring artificial intelligence solutions like chatbots.
