The Principal Analytics Consultant serves as the enterprise subject matter expert for Power BI, AI-enabled analytics development, and Data Agent capabilities. This role is responsible for defining, implementing, and improving the end-to-end dashboard and analytics solution development lifecycle by leveraging Generative AI, automation, and reusable assets to increase delivery productivity. The individual will establish enterprise standards for design, testing, and deployment while managing the MEE Data Agent platform's governance and scaling strategies. Key responsibilities include partnering with cross-functional teams to embed Gen AI into workflows and creating a scalable operating model for self-service analytics. Required technical skills include proficiency in SQL, Python, or R, along with experience in Tableau or Power BI. The role addresses complex challenges in healthcare payer, medical economics, and healthcare analytics to accelerate time-to-insight across the organization.
Serve as the enterprise subject matter expert for Power BI, AI-enabled analytics, and Data Agent capabilities.
Define and implement end-to-end dashboard development lifecycles using Generative AI and automation.
Establish enterprise standards and governance for dashboard design, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
Manage the lifecycle of the MEE Data Agent platform, including adoption and scaling strategies.
Partner with business and technology teams to embed Gen AI into analytics delivery workflows.
Develop a scalable operating model to enable self-service analytics and enterprise productivity gains.
Query diverse internal and external data sources using SQL, Python, or R to extract insights.
Create dynamic, visually engaging dashboards using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
What we're looking for
Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience, Master's with 6 years, PhD with 4 years, or 12 years of relevant experience in healthcare, statistics, or insurance economics.
Proficiency in querying diverse internal and external data sources to derive meaningful insights.
Strong analytical skills and proficiency in programming languages such as SQL, Python, or R.
Ability to create dynamic, visually engaging dashboards using tools like Tableau or Power BI.
High degree of business intelligence to move a business case from inception to execution.
Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Expertise in Microsoft Power BI and modern business intelligence practices (preferred).
Experience with Generative AI, automation, and enterprise-scale analytics governance (preferred).
