As a Prin Hardware System Engineer, you will serve as a tech lead for R&D programs within the HealthCast projects. What you'll do

Lead collaboration among sub-system owners to prioritize tasks and integrate functional design interfaces.
Drive sub-system development workstreams to meet specific project timelines and budget commitments.
Document technical inputs and design output matrices using Polarion or similar traceability software.
Translate concepts into fully functional and tested products through comprehensive systems engineering activities.
Identify applicable regulatory standards and delegate testing execution and report production.
Capture and review schematics, PCBA layouts, and component selections for system designs.
Conduct test and validation procedures for products with patient-applied parts and manage certified test houses.
Manage external design and manufacturing partner relationships as part of the system design strategy.

What we're looking for

Must have 7+ years of experience in the medical device industry in systems, digital, or software development.
Must have experience in 3+ system-level product or portfolio releases.
Must possess a robust design portfolio articulating past design work.
Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills with an aptitude for convincing others of the value of ideas.
Must have the ability to understand complex system behaviors, engineering problems, and technical or architectural constraints.
Must have deep knowledge of standards such as IEC 60601, ISO 62304, and ANSI C63.27.
Must have a Baccalaureate degree that satisfies the requirements of 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) if earned outside the United States.
Work authorization at the time of hire and for the duration of employment.
