Hardware Systems Engineer

What you'll do

• Design 54V DC power circuitry including hot-swap controllers, safety circuitry, and point-of-load regulators for AI/ML servers.
• Select components based on datasheet analysis and perform schematic capture using Cadence System Capture.
• Coordinate the layout of complex 16+ layer PCBs featuring HDI and fine pitch BGAs.
• Perform prototype bring-up, functional verification, and electrical characterization using high-bandwidth oscilloscopes and network analyzers.
• Analyze factory-scale data to adjust signal parameters for maximum margin in production.
• Develop Python code to automate system-level validation and testing processes.
• Review manufacturing test plans and debug assembly issues to provide corrective actions for high-volume production.
• Design analog circuitry for real-time sensor telemetry feedback to dynamic power control features on SoCs.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 1 year of experience in the job offered or a related occupation.
• 1 year of experience using high-power electronic load test equipment for 1000+W 54V DC power circuitry.
• 1 year of experience characterizing high-voltage fuse components for server power distribution.
• 1 year of experience working with product safety engineering to integrate safety features and understand lab requirements.
• 1 year of experience designing analog circuitry for real-time sensor telemetry feedback on SoCs.
• 1 year of experience measuring I2C, SPI, UART, clocks, and crystals with high-bandwidth oscilloscopes.
• 1 year of experience developing Python test code to automate system-level validation.
