What you'll do

Define position sensing system architectures, use-case requirements, and validation criteria.
Document technical specifications within Engineering Requirements Specifications.
Model sensing systems behaviorally to predict performance through nominal, sensitivity, and Monte-Carlo analyses.
Lead the engineering validation of sensing systems in coordination with partner teams.
Develop, implement, and maintain test and calibration codebases for sensing systems.
Create behavioral models of signal chains using tools like Matlab or Python to evaluate performance.
Perform magneto-static simulations using Finite Element Analysis tools like ANSYS or COMSOL.
Analyze high-volume manufacturing data to conduct yield and quality investigations.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in EE, ECE, Engineering Physics, or a similar field.
A PhD in EE, ECE, Engineering Physics, or a similar field is preferred.
Minimum of 10 years of relevant industry experience.
Experience with magnetic or optical sensing systems.
Experience with mixed-signal electronics and/or signal processing.
Experience with measurement science, calibration, or physical modeling.
Experience implementing behavioral models of sensing system signal chains in tools like Matlab or Python.
Experience with magneto-static simulations using Finite Element Analysis tools like ANSYS or COMSOL.
