The Platform Principle Tech Lead joins the team to drive the design, delivery, and evolution of critical Move Money capabilities. This role involves leading technical initiatives for workflows including Checks, ACH, Journals, Wires, and Complex Retirement transactions while partnering with Engineering, Product, Architecture, and Operations teams. You will be responsible for platform modernization, establishing engineering standards, and mentoring talent to deliver scalable, secure solutions. The position requires expertise in the iPipeline IFS platform, Microsoft technologies, SQL Server databases, and CI/CD pipelines. You will also utilize .NET, JavaScript, Git, Visual Studio, and AWS cloud services. The work focuses on solving complex technology challenges within enterprise payment capabilities, ensuring reliable money movement, and integrating with financial technology solutions like BetaNXT, Bottomline, and GIACT to enhance advisor experiences.
Lead the design, development, and enhancement of Move Money workflows including Checks, ACH, Wires, and Journals.
Provide technical leadership for integrations across IFS, payment technologies, and enterprise systems.
Establish engineering standards, architecture patterns, coding best practices, and software development processes.
Mentor and develop engineering teams through coaching, technical guidance, and knowledge sharing.
Translate business requirements into technical solutions by partnering with Product, Architecture, and Security stakeholders.
Drive the execution of strategic technology initiatives and cloud-native architecture adoption.
Monitor platform performance, reliability, and scalability while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
What we're looking for
Proven experience implementing, supporting, or leading development efforts on the iPipeline IFS platform.
5+ years of experience in technical leadership, solution delivery, or software engineering leadership roles.
Experience leading technical teams and collaborating across engineering, product, business, and operational stakeholders.
Experience working with Microsoft technologies, SQL Server databases, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise application development frameworks.
Experience designing and developing service-oriented architectures and applying software design, refactoring, and testing best practices.
8+ years of experience working with a combination of .NET, JavaScript, SQL Server, Git, Visual Studio, and related development technologies (preferred).
Experience with AWS cloud services and cloud-native application architectures (preferred).
