What you'll do

  • Execute end-to-end cybersecurity programs across all global operating companies within the Diagnostics Platform.
  • Serve as the primary executive point of contact for cyber security with site leaders and stakeholders.
  • Build and lead a globally distributed team covering architecture, risk management, assurance, and manufacturing security.
  • Manage the platform's cyber risk register, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure architecture standards.
  • Lead cyber assurance programs including ISO 27001, HITRUST, SOC 2, and customer security questionnaires.
  • Coordinate product security for medical devices to ensure compliance with FDA, EU IVDR, and IEC standards.
  • Oversee data protection and AI security governance in alignment with HIPAA, GDPR, and other global regulations.
  • Secure OT and manufacturing environments across global sites using IEC 62443 or NIST 800-82 standards.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 12+ years of information security experience including direct ownership of a cybersecurity function serving multiple business units or operating companies within a global organization.
  • Demonstrated experience as a CISO, Deputy CISO, Business Unit/Divisional CISO, or equivalent senior cyber leader for an end-to-end program.
  • Experience leading and managing globally distributed teams across multiple time zones and layers of management.
  • Experience operating in decentralized, multi-business-unit environments and influencing without direct authority.
  • Experience owning cybersecurity certification and audit programs including ISO 27001, HITRUST, SOC 2, or PCI DSS.
  • Experience with product security for connected medical devices, IVD instruments, and regulatory requirements like FDA premarket/postmarket and GDPR.
  • Experience with cyber diligence and post-close integration for mergers and acquisitions.
  • Ability to travel up to 25-30% of the time, including international travel (preferred).
  • Experience in medical devices, IVD, or life sciences (preferred).
  • Familiarity with FDA Section 524B, IEC 81001-5-1, IEC 62443, and EU IVDR/MDR (preferred).
  • AI security governance experience including LLM application security and data governance for clinical data (preferred).
