What you'll do

Administer, configure, and troubleshoot Avigilon Control Center video management systems and related hardware.
Manage access control systems including card readers, controllers, credential management, and security policies.
Integrate access control platforms with video surveillance and alarm systems.
Monitor system health, perform root cause analysis, and respond to security incidents or hardware failures.
Support investigations through video retrieval, evidence preservation, and data export.
Collaborate with IT teams to manage network connectivity, VLANs, and cybersecurity requirements for security devices.
Develop technical documentation, as-built drawings, and standard operating procedures for new projects.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors during the deployment of new security technologies and facility expansions.

What we're looking for

Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Security Systems, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
10+ years of experience supporting enterprise physical security systems.
Hands-on experience with Avigilon Control Center (ACC), Avigilon cameras, NVR appliances, and Avigilon Access Control Manager (ACM) or Alta Access.
Strong knowledge of IP networking, video surveillance systems, access control technologies, and system integrations.
Experience troubleshooting physical security hardware and software.
Preferred certification as an Avigilon Certified Professional (ACP).
Preferred certifications include CPP, PSP, CompTIA Network+, or Cisco CCNA.
Ability to lift and install security equipment up to 40 lbs.
