Business Systems Analyst, Front Office Investment Solutions

What you'll do

• Translate complex investment and operational processes into scalable technology solutions for front-office teams.
• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user journeys, workflows, and functional specifications.
• Develop AI-powered capabilities for research, portfolio management, analytics, and automated document generation.
• Conduct discovery sessions, process reviews, and solution workshops with internal stakeholders.
• Create detailed process flows, data mappings, and gap analyses for current and future-state workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in Agile environments to prioritize work and refine requirements.
• Manage structured and unstructured investment data including research, holdings, and market data.
• Define user acceptance testing strategies and support the rollout of new products and tools.

What we're looking for

• Must have 10+ years of business analysis experience at a buy-side Fixed Income firm supporting front-office teams.
• Must possess strong experience across major Fixed Income instruments including Treasuries, Corporate Bonds, and OTC derivatives.
• Must be proficient in SQL, including writing queries and understanding stored procedures.
• Must have working knowledge of data governance to maintain high data quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Must be able to use application lifecycle management tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Preferred experience with AI, generative AI, workflow automation, or modern data platforms.
• Preferred CFA designation or progress toward certification.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
