Business Systems Analyst, Front Office Investment Solutions

What you'll do

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements, user journeys, and functional specifications for investment platforms.
• Translate complex investment and operational processes into scalable technology solutions.
• Shape and enhance AI-powered workflows for research, portfolio management, and analytics.
• Drive discovery sessions, process reviews, and solution workshops with global investment stakeholders.
• Create process flows, data mappings, and gap analyses for current and future-state workflows.
• Collaborate with engineering teams in Agile environments to prioritize work and refine requirements.
• Define user acceptance testing strategies and support successful product rollouts and adoption.
• Identify opportunities for automation, efficiency gains, and improved investment insights.

What we're looking for

• 10+ years of business analysis experience at a buy-side Fixed Income firm supporting front-office teams.
• Strong experience across major Fixed Income instruments including Treasuries, Corporate Bonds, OTC derivatives, and Repos.
• Working knowledge of data governance and the ability to maintain high data quality throughout the project lifecycle.
• Proficiency in SQL, including writing queries and understanding stored procedures.
• Experience with BI reporting tools, relational databases, and application lifecycle management tools like Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to gather requirements, document user journeys, and translate complex processes into scalable technology solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Experience supporting front-office investment platforms, AI, or cloud-native architectures (preferred).
