Lead Business Systems Analyst

What you'll do

• Translate complex investment accounting needs into clear requirements, user stories, and technical specifications.
• Maintain a prioritized, delivery-ready backlog in collaboration with the Product Owner.
• Partner with technology leads to shape technical designs and ensure robust system impacts.
• Use SQL to investigate accounting, valuation, and reference data to support business decisions.
• Coordinate with Quality Automation Engineers on test planning, execution, and defect resolution.
• Participate in SAFe Agile ceremonies including PI Planning, standups, and sprint reviews.
• Manage delivery dates and project lifecycles while ensuring alignment with budgets and schedules.
• Utilize enterprise AI tools to accelerate requirements analysis, documentation, and data investigation.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 7+ years of business or systems analysis experience delivering technology change, ideally in financial services.
• Experience eliciting and documenting clear business and functional requirements from various sources.
• SQL and relational database knowledge with hands-on experience querying and reconciling data.
• Experience with Agile development practices and tools such as JIRA and Confluence.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly while building relationships across teams.
• Experience in investment management or financial services with knowledge of valuation, fee calculation, and trading (preferred).
• Experience delivering conversion, upgrade, and integration initiatives in a SAFe Agile environment (preferred).
