PGH Engineer I - V

What you'll do

• Design and support material handling sortation systems, including PLC system integration and vendor equipment testing.
• Develop site designs for buildings, offices, and automated sorting infrastructure.
• Manage the engineering, construction, and startup phases of sortation facilities.
• Analyze operational data to identify performance improvements and justify costs for field operations.
• Conduct research and analysis to support long-term network design and capacity planning.
• Deploy technology solutions to improve system performance and reduce operating costs.
• Oversee the security of all Operational Technology (OT) devices on the corporate network.
• Prepare expenditure proposals, cost justifications, and project progress reports for management review.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical or quantitative field like mathematics.
• Two years of experience for Engineer II, four years for Engineer III, seven years for Engineer IV, and ten years for Engineer V.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office software and web-based applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with all levels of management.
• Ability to perform data analysis using engineering tools and software to validate results.
• Knowledge of project management concepts, the project lifecycle, and Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling.
• Technical knowledge in areas such as PLC systems, AutoCAD, construction drawings, or industrial control systems.
• Preferred skills include SQL, Python, Power BI, Power Automate, Microsoft Azure Databricks, and GCP BigQuery.
