PCB Fabrication Specialist

What you'll do

• Determine optimal PCB stackups and material selections while coordinating long-lead pre-orders for new designs.
• Perform final CAM artwork checks and panelization calculations to maximize board yields and material utilization.
• Oversee D-coupon requirements and manage incoming quality inspections to ensure compliance with IPC standards.
• Support the procurement team by providing technical expertise during RFQs and selecting optimal fabrication vendors.
• Track production issues and coordinate with internal teams and vendors to resolve manufacturing defects via Corrective Action Reports.
• Manage vendor relationships, including site visits and monitoring CMMC compliance for defense security standards.
• Maintain the PCB Technology Roadmap and internal material specifications to track emerging industry capabilities.
• Integrate AI-assisted tools for DFM, supply chain forecasting, and automated inspection processes.

What we're looking for

• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
• Ability to obtain necessary security clearances as required by government contractors.
• 3+ years of experience in PCB fabrication, CAM engineering, or technical PCB procurement/supply chain management.
• Deep understanding of PCB manufacturing processes, IPC standards, material properties, panelization, and impedance stackups.
• Proficiency with CAM viewing tools, ERP/MRP procurement systems, and advanced Excel for data analytics.
• Familiarity with defense/industrial compliance standards, specifically CMMC, ITAR, or EAR regulations.
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced EDA/CAM verification tools, predictive supply chain platforms, or automated visual inspection systems (preferred).
• Strong negotiation skills, cross-functional project management, and clear technical communication skills.
