As a PCB Design Layout Engineer, you will join the engineering team to perform layout for high-speed, high-density, and value-conscious PCBs across various business units including GPU Desktop, Notebook, Automotive, Professional, Data Center, Deep Learning, and AI. Working closely with product design engineers, you will manage floor planning, detailed component placement, constraint management, and signal integrity while ensuring designs meet SI constraints, EMI/RFI control, and specific regulatory standards like FCC, UL, and IPC specifications. You will utilize Cadence PCB design tools, specifically Allegro 23.1 and Capture, to develop complex multi-layer HDI PCBs. The role requires expertise in high-density interconnect layout, routing, timing constraints, DFM, DFA, and DFT for volume manufacturing. Ideal candidates possess experience with back-drilling technology for designs in the 25gbps+ range and demonstrate strong leadership and communication skills.
