To succeed, you must possess expertise in government relations, risk management, and project management while utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. This role focuses on navigating complex regulatory frameworks and translating operational realities into advocacy positions for the global payments industry.

What you'll do

  • Research and analyze market trends, competitor pricing, and client behavior to identify product improvement opportunities.
  • Develop marketing collateral tailored to specific target markets.
  • Execute regulatory testing procedures to ensure products meet all legal requirements before release.
  • Assist in developing the risk and compliance models for payment products.
  • Identify and resolve inefficiencies within existing regulatory testing processes.
  • Draft briefing memos and strategic presentations to communicate firm insights to internal and external audiences.
  • Translate client challenges and regulatory priorities into advocacy positions, messaging, and engagement strategies.

What we're looking for

  • 2+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in Government Relations and Policy, Product, Technology, or Project Management.
  • Strong understanding of the payments landscape, business models, and regulatory environment.
  • Working knowledge of public policy and regulatory change, including regional and local nuances.
  • Emerging knowledge of risk management and controls, and governance requirements.
  • Experience in developing advocacy positions, messaging, and engagement strategies.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Experience in consulting and strategy for financial services or engaging with policymakers and industry associations (preferred).
