You will solve complex business problems by translating ambiguous financial processes into technical roadmaps while mentoring others on engineering standards and AI integration.

What you'll do

Design, develop, and deploy data applications using Python and Streamlit to automate financial processes.
Lead the integration of AI technologies, including LLM-powered features and RAG pipelines, into production tools.
Manage complex projects end-to-end from initial discovery and scoping through deployment and maintenance.
Connect applications to diverse data sources including databases, APIs, and data lakes across the enterprise.
Partner with financial analysts to identify pain points and translate business requirements into technical roadmaps.
Write clean, maintainable Python code while establishing reusable components and standards for the engineering team.
Architect systems for reliability by implementing robust error handling, logging, monitoring, and CI/CD pipelines.
Coach and mentor finance staff on how to effectively incorporate AI tools into their daily workflows.

What we're looking for

3+ years of experience in data engineering or software development with a track record of shipping production data applications end-to-end.
Expert proficiency in Python and hands-on experience building and deploying web applications using Streamlit.
Strong experience with relational databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL) and modern data lake/lakehouse environments.
Strong software engineering fundamentals including Git, code review, testing, CI/CD, and observability.
BS in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Experience building with modern AI/LLM tooling, RAG pipelines, and agent frameworks (preferred).
Experience with FastAPI, Flask, Django, React, or other front-end frameworks (preferred).
Proficiency with data visualization libraries and experience with cloud platforms or containerization (preferred).
