Operations & System Specialist I, Radiology

What you'll do

• Provide in-person training on Linux, high-performance computing systems, and data transfer methods.
• Assist researchers in configuring and running AI models for radiology studies on the CHPC infrastructure.
• Troubleshoot and debug Jupyter notebooks, Python environments, and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
• Offer technical guidance on DICOM image processing and segmentation tasks.
• Analyze user symptoms to identify and resolve underlying technical problems rather than just addressing surface issues.
• Maintain system performance, security, hardware/software utilities, and capacity planning for the computing environment.
• Create documentation regarding system development, deployment, lifecycle, and operating procedures for users.
• Manage inventory of technology resources and perform routine system administration tasks.

What we're looking for

• A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• Candidates must have 3 years of experience in Operations Analysis and Design, Systems Programming, or a closely related field.
• Proficiency in Python, C, and C++ programming languages is required.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks including PyTorch and TensorFlow is required.
• Technical skills in Linux, Shell Scripting, and Operating System Software are required.
• Ability to work with Jupyter Notebooks and DICOM images for medical imaging processing is required.
• Skills in troubleshooting, system performance monitoring, and technical support are required.
• Strong communication and client counseling skills are required to provide training and guidance to researchers.
