The Operations Planner & Configuration Manager joins the team to serve as a primary coordinator of base-related activities during a USAF Base Infrastructure Modernization contract. The individual will support the development of the Configuration Management Plan, manage the configuration management database, and secure government approval before implementing changes. Key responsibilities include ensuring that executing teams, operational teams, and government counterparts are informed of upcoming activities. Required technical skills include DoW Planning tools, Configuration Management IT tools, and familiarity with ITIL foundation and ITSM processes. Preferred tools include ServiceNow and AF Planning and CM Tools. The role requires strong verbal and written communication skills to brief leadership and collaborate with remote team members globally.

What you'll do

Implement and maintain configuration management processes, tools, and infrastructure in alignment with the PWS.
Support the development of the Configuration Management Plan (CMP).
Develop and manage the configuration management database.
Obtain government approval before implementing changes to the configuration management database.
Coordinate base activities during modernization efforts to ensure all teams are aware of future tasks.
Manage project deliverables and track technical requirements using ITIL and ITSM processes.
Brief leadership and communicate project status to both local and remote team members.

What we're looking for

Must possess a Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree.
Must have at least 5 years of related experience.
Must be a United States citizen.
Must possess an active Secret security clearance.
Must possess skills in Configuration Management, CMDB, and Deliverables Management.
Must possess technical skills in DoW Planning tools and Configuration Management IT tools.
Must have strong verbal and written communication skills for briefing leadership and remote teams.
US Citizenship.
