Configuration Management Coordinator

What you'll do

• Establish and manage the project’s Configuration Management Plan and Navy-specific engineering policies.
• Maintain Functional, Allocated, and Product baselines for network hardware, operating systems, and firmware.
• Manage the Configuration Management Database to ensure 100% traceability from requirements to deployment.
• Chair the Configuration Control Board to manage technical reviews, risk assessments, and impact analyses.
• Draft, review, and process Engineering Change Requests for all proposed system modifications.
• Assess network routing and security policy changes for technical conflicts or security vulnerabilities.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity leads to align configuration processes with the Risk Management Framework.
• Support configuration auditing for cloud and shore-based systems against baseline documentation.

What we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience in configuration management.
• 3+ years of experience supporting U.S. Navy or DoD maritime network engineering programs.
• Experience with technical writing and developing CM plans, ECRs, and SOPs.
• Knowledge of network topology, enterprise routers, switches, firewalls, VLANs, and routing protocols like OSPF or BGP.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Information Technology.
• Experience supporting NAVWAR, NAVSEA, or NIWC Atlantic or Pacific (preferred).
• Experience with Navy afloat operational environments, shipboard installation processes, or C4I systems (preferred).
• Secret clearance.
