OCI Resident Architect

What you'll do

• Translate customer business priorities into practical technical plans with clear milestones and success criteria.
• Guide customers through architecture reviews, production-readiness planning, and performance analysis.
• Identify and resolve workload, capacity, security, and operational risks early in the lifecycle.
• Coordinate customer engineering teams, systems integrators, and Oracle product teams to achieve technical outcomes.
• Lead architecture reviews, migration planning, troubleshooting, and post-incident improvement activities.
• Convert recurring customer patterns into reusable architectures, automation, and technical guidance for the organization.
• Provide technical feedback to Oracle engineering teams to improve products and services based on customer insights.

What we're looking for

• Applicants must be able to read, write, and speak English.
• Candidates must have 3 to 5+ years of experience.
• Required skills include Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Engineering, and Driving Customers.
• Strong experience in cloud architecture, solution engineering, technical consulting, site reliability engineering, or platform engineering (preferred).
• Experience designing, deploying, or operating enterprise-scale cloud environments on OCI or another major public cloud platform (preferred).
• Technical depth across compute, networking, storage, identity and security, Kubernetes, databases, observability, or AI infrastructure (preferred).
• Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex distributed systems and lead structured problem resolution across organizations (preferred).
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field (preferred).
