What you'll do

Develop production-level GNC algorithms, simulations, and tools using C++ or Python.
Perform constellation design, orbit optimization, and satellite collision avoidance analysis.
Automate fleet management tasks and satellite orbit transfers including supporting software infrastructure.
Execute state estimation and control for network payloads like RF antennas and laser links.
Analyze bulk performance data from the Starlink constellation to evaluate system health.
Write high-quality technical documentation for programs, algorithms, and analytical processes.
Participate in on-call rotations to command satellites and monitor network performance.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science, aerospace, physics, or an engineering discipline.
Software development experience in either C++ or Python.
Must be graduating in the class of 2026 or 2027.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee (or eligible for such status).
Master's degree or PhD in an engineering discipline or physics (preferred).
Experience developing, debugging, and deploying software used in real-world applications (preferred).
Strong understanding of orbital mechanics, including low thrust trajectory optimization and stationkeeping (preferred).
Experience with state estimation, such as attitude determination, orbit determination, GNSS, and radio navigation (preferred).
