What you'll do

Develop production-level GNC algorithms, simulations, tools, and dashboards using C++ or Python.
Perform constellation design, optimization, and fleet management for satellite orbit transfers.
Execute satellite attitude determination, control, and low thrust trajectory optimization.
Conduct bulk data analysis to review performance data from the Starlink constellation and network.
Support on-call operations by commanding satellites and reviewing network data to maintain peak performance.
Write high-quality technical documentation for programs, algorithms, and engineering analysis.
Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews for spacecraft systems.
Perform satellite collision avoidance and precision state estimation for network payloads.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science, aerospace, physics, or an engineering discipline.
Software development experience in either C++ or Python.
Graduating in the class of 2026 or 2027.
Must be a U.S. citizen, national, lawful permanent resident, refugee, asylee, or eligible for Department of State authorization.
Master's degree or PhD in an engineering discipline or physics (preferred).
Developed, debugged, and deployed software used in real-world applications or projects (preferred).
Strong understanding of orbital mechanics, including low thrust trajectory optimization and stationkeeping (preferred).
Experience with state estimation, particularly attitude determination, orbit determination, GNSS, and radio navigation (preferred).
