Network Support Engineer

What you'll do

• Diagnose and troubleshoot network connectivity problems, performance degradation, and security concerns.
• Respond to and escalate network-related incidents in a timely manner.
• Support the deployment, monitoring, and testing of new network infrastructure like satellites and gateway sites.
• Monitor network performance to ensure maximum efficiency and operational uptime for customers.
• Build and enhance tools and refine operational procedures to improve network operations.
• Manage severity 2 and 3 tickets during business hours and weekend on-call rotations.

What we're looking for

• Candidates must be a U.S. citizen, national, permanent resident, refugee, or granted asylum.
• 2+ years of software development or 2+ years of technical support experience.
• 2+ years of network engineering experience for large-scale networks, including diagnosing network impacting issues.
• Experience scripting in modern program languages.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging technical systems.
• Experience with network monitoring and automation scripting using SQL, Python, or Bash.
• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, or equivalent, or advanced networking and troubleshooting experience (preferred).
