What you'll do

Design, implement, and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure across classified and unclassified environments.
Administer routing and switching operations including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, and enterprise segmentation.
Perform advanced root cause analysis and resolution for complex network incidents affecting mission-critical operations.
Automate network configuration, compliance, and deployment tasks using scripting and templating tools.
Implement and maintain DISA STIG-compliant configurations across all enterprise network devices.
Support Zero Trust Architecture initiatives through posture assessment, policy enforcement, and access control.
Execute network upgrades and lifecycle refreshes with minimal operational impact in high-availability environments.
Develop and maintain technical documentation including network diagrams, SOPs, and implementation plans.

What we're looking for

Must have an active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain SCI access within 6 months of hire.
Must be a U.S. citizen.
Bachelor’s Degree in Network Engineering, IT, Cybersecurity, or a related field with 4 years of experience.
Graduate Degree with 2 years of related experience.
Minimum of 8 years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
6+ years of experience supporting enterprise network infrastructure in a DoD, federal, or similarly regulated environment.
Strong hands-on experience configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting Juniper and Cisco network devices.
Experience applying and maintaining DISA STIG compliance across network devices.
Experience with network automation using scripting, templates, or similar tools.
Experience leading technical training, mentoring junior staff, or serving as a team SME.
Ability to troubleshoot complex network issues across multi-site or large-scale environments (preferred).
Experience producing technical documentation, including diagrams, SOPs, and engineering procedures (preferred).
Experience with multi-vendor network fabric management using Apstra Data Center Director (preferred).
Hands-on experience troubleshooting on-premises and off-premises fiber optic infrastructure (preferred).
Experience implementing Zero Trust Architecture using Cisco ISE or similar technologies (preferred).
Experience configuring Arista and Dell network devices (preferred).
Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments with thousands of endpoints (preferred).
Experience performing zero-downtime upgrades in high-availability environments (preferred).
Experience with enterprise monitoring and management platforms such as SolarWinds (preferred).
Experience supporting classified network environments (preferred).
Hands-on experience installing and troubleshooting ViaSat and GDMS Type 1 encryptors (preferred).
Experience with network audits, IP space analysis, and address management (preferred).
Familiarity with PL1 or similarly controlled facilities (preferred).
Active Security+ CE Certification (preferred).
