What you'll do

Design technical solutions for complex problems by interpreting requirements and allocating them to technical components.
Define and maintain the overall security posture of networks through regular audits and program improvements.
Configure and maintain communications systems including firewalls, routers, switches, and storage devices.
Manage network installation tasks and perform capacity planning, systems configuration, and hardware installations.
Write and edit "build-to" and "as-built" documentation, implementation plans, and test plans for IT equipment.
Provide expert analysis for voice, video, and data networks, including protocol suite and operating system upgrades.
Troubleshoot and resolve complex network issues for users across Tier I, II, and III support levels.
Mentor junior network engineers and partner with systems administrators to solve complex infrastructure problems.

What we're looking for

Must be a US Citizen.
Must currently possess a Top Secret SCI with Polygraph clearance.
Must have 10+ years of related Network Engineering experience.
Must have 12+ years of experience configuring and maintaining Cisco ASA/Next Generation Firewalls.
Must have 10+ years of experience configuring, designing, maintaining, and troubleshooting LAN/WAN devices.
Must have a Bachelor's or Technology degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent 14 years of job-related experience.
Must have experience deploying Cisco, Palo Alto, or Juniper firewall Manager servers for more than 10 years.
Must have experience with IPSec site-to-site VPN utilizing PKI (CA) and Remote access VPN.
Must have experience allowing voice and video traffic across port-based firewalls and NGFW.
Must have experience designing and deploying multi-firewall solutions, controlled interfaces, and firewall vendor transitioning plans.
Must have experience designing and deploying firewalls in multicast network environments.
Must have experience with network monitoring technologies and a basic understanding of QoS concepts.
Must have experience configuring, designing, and troubleshooting QoS in LAN or WAN devices (preferred).
Must have Juniper, Palo Alto, or Cisco Next Generation Firewalls Certifications and hands-on experience (preferred).
Must have experience designing and deploying Multi-Factor Authentication and Zero-Trust solutions (preferred).
