Network Engineer

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and sustain highly available, scalable, and secure data center and enterprise network environments.
• Configure, optimize, and troubleshoot Cisco ACI, routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
• Analyze and optimize network performance across servers, storage, hypervisors, and data center interconnects.
• Monitor network health and incident resolution using tools like ServiceNow, SolarWinds, NetBox, and PRTG.
• Lead technical troubleshooting for complex network issues and coordinate root cause analysis and recovery activities.
• Develop and maintain contingency and continuity plans to ensure network resilience and minimize service disruptions.
• Provide technical oversight for network infrastructure standards, including cabling, patch management, and equipment configuration.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and work direction to junior network engineers and technicians.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree and 12+ years of relevant experience (additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree).
• US Citizenship is required.
• TS/SCI with Poly or TS/SCI with willingness to obtain a polygraph is required.
• Must meet DoD 8140/8570.11-I requirements with a valid Computing Environment (CE) certification (Security+ CE, CCNA Security, GSEC, or SSCP).
• Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable, redundant, and secure data center network architectures.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco ACI, Nexus, and Catalyst platforms, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency with network monitoring and ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, SolarWinds, and NetBox.
• Active CCNA, CCNP, or CCIE certification (preferred).
