What you'll do

Lead the assessment, design, and technical implementation of Bluecoat product platforms.
Define, create, and maintain proxy policies to manage network traffic efficiently.
Execute SSL Interception within an integrated internal PKI environment.
Design and implement pilot and production architectures based on specific success criteria.
Lead root-cause analysis and troubleshooting efforts for production deployments.
Function as a technical liaison between the client and Symantec Support.
Provide incident status reports and report anomalies through proper technical channels.

What we're looking for

Must have 8+ years of experience with BlueCoat/Proxy in supporting large networks.
Must have a Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field or equivalent experience.
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust (MBI T2) and pass a thorough government background screening.
Must meet U.S. residency requirements, including specific consecutive time limits outside the U.S. over the last 3 years.
Must have expertise in HTTP proxy configuration, integration, and administration, preferably with Broadcom Bluecoat.
Must have a strong understanding of TCP/IP, UDP/IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP/s, and HTTP proxy.
Must be proficient in the architecture, design, and deployment of Symantec BlueCoat solutions including ASG/SG, Management Center, Reporter, and Web Security Services.
Experience with APIs, scripting, and Splunk data flows is desired (preferred Perl, python, and JavaScript).
