What you'll do

Plan, execute, and document laboratory assessments of hardware, software, and configuration changes for the DLA network.
Coordinate with government customers to develop Technology Assessment Plans, Change Implementation Plans, and Enterprise Change Requests.
Prepare detailed After Action Reports documenting technical approaches, results, and recommendations.
Identify emerging network capabilities and develop evaluation and selection criteria for new technologies.
Develop system evaluation methods, testing approaches, and technical documentation using network monitoring systems.
Produce formal engineering documentation for executive-level briefings.
Ensure interoperability between DLA WAN and DISN network systems.
Create network maps, detailed designs, test plans, device configurations, and implementation procedures.

What we're looking for

Must be a U.S. citizen.
Must possess an active Secret clearance with SSBI (Tier 5) or a Top-Secret clearance.
Must possess a U.S. passport or the ability to obtain one within 60 days.
Minimum of 3 years of relevant network engineering experience.
Must hold a CCNA and an IAT Level II compliant certification (Security+, CySA+, SSCP, GSEC, CCNA Security, CND, or GICSP).
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in lieu of degree.
Strong knowledge of LAN/WAN protocols including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, LDP, STIG compliance, routing/switching, and multi-vendor network devices.
Experience with wired, wireless, voice, and video technologies; CCNP Enterprise and Check Point CCSA certifications (preferred).
