Network Development Engineer II, ALG Software and Network Integration and Test

What you'll do

• Design and deploy network architectures including switching fabrics, routing, and segmentation across data center environments.
• Automate network provisioning, configuration management, and operational workflows using tools like Python or Ansible.
• Operate and sustain multi-tenant network environments through technology refreshes, scaling, and optimization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex cross-domain network events from the physical layer to application connectivity.
• Lead projects involving network deployment, sustaining engineering, and infrastructure scaling.
• Maintain standards for change management, technical documentation, and configuration control across the networking toolset.

What we're looking for

• 4+ years of experience with major internet routing protocols.
• 3+ years of network engineering experience in design, deployment, and operations.
• 1+ years of experience working in a Linux/Unix environment.
• Proficiency in network automation (Python, Ansible, or equivalent) and infrastructure-as-code.
• Experience with enterprise or data center switching platforms such as Arista, Cisco Nexus, or Juniper.
• Hands-on experience with Linux networking including bridges, namespaces, virtual interfaces, and firewalling.
• Experience operating in multi-tenant or shared infrastructure environments.
• 1+ years of automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell, and/or Perl (preferred).
• Experience with network troubleshooting tools, customer service, and version control tools (preferred).
• Experience supporting engineering labs, test environments, or integration infrastructure (preferred).
• Familiarity with embedded systems integration (preferred).
• Exposure to SDN concepts, programmable data planes, or SONiC (preferred).
• Understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle including requirements, integration, and verification (preferred).
• Familiarity with RF, satellite, or communications system hardware integration (preferred).
