System Dev Engineer II, ALG Software and Network Integration and Test

What you'll do

• Own the design, deployment, and operational health of lab infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines.
• Architect infrastructure-as-code solutions and monitoring platforms to ensure scalable and cost-effective lab systems.
• Diagnose and resolve full-stack issues across hardware, software, networking, and operating environments.
• Identify system resiliency risks and drive permanent fixes through design reviews and post-incident analyses.
• Define operational best practices for automation, observability, alerting, and incident response.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation including runbooks, architecture diagrams, and operational procedures.
• Coach team members on operational excellence, systems engineering best practices, and risk elimination.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support integration and verification across satellite and ground campaigns.

What we're looking for

• Must be a US Citizen.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance of TS/SCI.
• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes.
• Experience with distributed systems at scale (preferred).
