System Dev Engineer II, ALG Software and Network Integration and Test

What you'll do

• Own the design, deployment, and long-term resiliency of lab infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for hardware-in-the-loop environments.
• Architect and implement infrastructure-as-code solutions, monitoring platforms, and automation to ensure scalable and reliable systems.
• Diagnose and resolve complex performance, reliability, and availability issues across the full stack including hardware, software, and networking.
• Identify and mitigate risks to system resiliency through design reviews, operational readiness reviews, and post-incident analyses.
• Define and drive operational best practices for automation, observability, alerting, and incident response across the lab engineering organization.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including runbooks, architecture diagrams, and standard operating procedures.
• Coach and mentor team members on systems engineering best practices and operational excellence.
• Contribute to strategic and operational planning to ensure investments in infrastructure agility and resiliency.

What we're looking for

• Must be a US Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI security clearance.
• Experience in automating, deploying, and supporting large-scale infrastructure.
• Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Python, Ruby, Golang, Java, C++, C#, or Rust.
• Experience with Linux/Unix systems.
• Experience with CI/CD pipeline build processes.
• Experience with distributed systems at scale (preferred).
