Network Automation Engineer

What you'll do

• Design and implement scalable, automated solutions for managing enterprise network infrastructure.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Ansible.
• Integrate network automation workflows into CI/CD pipelines for consistent deployments.
• Build and maintain templated configurations and modular components for multiple environments.
• Implement validation, testing, and compliance mechanisms to ensure safe network changes.
• Define and drive the adoption of standards and reusable frameworks for network automation.
• Contribute to network architecture discussions with a focus on scalability and automation.
• Mentor team members in adopting modern, software-driven operational practices.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Network Engineering, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in IT network and security engineering including L2/L3 networking, firewalls, and DDI systems.
• 3-5 years of experience in an enterprise Network Engineering position focusing on Cisco, Palo Alto, and Infoblox technologies.
• Strong hands-on experience implementing network automation using Ansible or comparable frameworks with reusable roles and playbooks.
• Experience integrating infrastructure automation into CI/CD pipelines and utilizing Git-based development practices.
• Proficiency in programming or scripting (e.g., Python, Bash) and working with APIs for data-driven automation.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform (preferred).
• Certifications such as Devnet, CCNA, CCNP, PCNSA, or PCSAE (preferred).
