What you'll do

Administer, maintain, and troubleshoot classified network infrastructure including switches, firewalls, and TACLANE devices.
Execute switch and firewall configuration changes following approved change-management and security protocols.
Monitor network health, respond to alerts, and restore services during outages or degraded conditions.
Perform network patching, vulnerability remediation, and technical-debt reduction activities.
Coordinate with circuit providers, vendors, and site personnel to resolve connectivity and infrastructure issues.
Create and maintain accurate network documentation, asset records, and configuration diagrams.
Support audit preparation, evidence collection, and compliance requirements for Information Assurance.
Assist with classified network deployments, site expansions, and program onboarding activities.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field, or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years.
Master's degree plus a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
Active Department of Defense Secret security clearance and U.S. citizenship are required.
Current Security+ certification is required.
Current CCNA certification is required.
Hands-on understanding of Cisco switching, routing, VLANs, IP subnetting, and the OSI model.
Working knowledge of firewall concepts, network security principles, and troubleshooting methods.
Experience with classified environments, TACLANE encryptors, or DoD STIGs (preferred).
