What you'll do

  • Manage routers, firewalls, load balancers, and other critical network infrastructure components.
  • Perform advanced administration, monitoring, configuration, and troubleshooting for Army Enterprise Network environments.
  • Lead high-impact incident response activities and coordinate restoration efforts in a 24/7 mission environment.
  • Maintain and secure boundary protection systems according to DoW and Army cybersecurity standards.
  • Develop automation improvements to enhance operational efficiency across the network.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation and ensure compliance with enterprise security mandates.
  • Mentor junior network administrators and support their professional technical development.
  • Participate in engineering initiatives, enterprise planning sessions, and technical review activities.

What we're looking for

  • Must be a United States citizen.
  • Must possess an active Top Secret/SCI clearance (or TS with the ability to obtain SCI).
  • Must have at least 5 years of related experience.
  • Must have technical training, certifications, or a degree.
  • Experience supporting DoWIN-Army or DoW enterprise networking environments is required.
  • Mastery of enterprise routing and switching including OSPF, BGP, VRRP/HSRP is required.
  • Proficiency with Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, or other Army-utilized platforms is required.
  • Security clearance level: Top Secret/SCI (or TS with the ability to obtain SCI).
