What you'll do

Inspect materials, equipment, and products using Ultrasonic Testing (UT) or Radiographic Testing (RT).
Ensure all NDT procedures comply with NAVSEA 271 and other relevant customer specifications.
Review engineering drawings to measure and verify hardware key characteristics.
Qualify NDT equipment for new and expanding manufacturing facilities based on established standards.
Create and perform validations for tools and equipment used in production.
Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues as they arise.
Support internal and external audits of the NDT program.

What we're looking for

Must have verifiable work experience meeting NAVSEA T9074-AS-GIB-010/271 requirements for Level II certification.
Must hold a current NDT Level II certification in Ultrasonic Testing (UT) and/or Radiographic Testing (RT).
Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident).
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
Experience performing NDT on critical welded structures, pressure vessels, castings, or forgings for defense applications is required.
A Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline is preferred.
In-depth knowledge of fabrication and inspection codes such as NAVSEA S9074-AQ-GIB-010/248, ASME B&PV Section V, and AWS D1.2 is preferred.
Familiarity with military standards like MIL-STD-2132 is preferred.
