Tooling, Vision and Controls Manager

What you'll do

• Lead a multi-disciplinary team of engineers, technicians, and program managers to deliver business-critical solutions.
• Drive the delivery of print quality assessment, manufacturing automation, and data collection platforms.
• Partner with business stakeholders to define priorities and align resources across multiple HP business units.
• Develop and execute technology roadmaps and investment strategies for measurement and smart manufacturing.
• Manage department financials, resource planning, and long-term workforce strategies.
• Establish development processes, operational rigor, and quality standards to champion engineering excellence.
• Identify opportunities to modernize and transform measurement, testing, and controls platforms.

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or related science.
• 8+ years of experience leading engineer teams as a program manager or engineering technical lead.
• Ability to set strategy, lead, and develop a diverse team of engineers, technicians, and program managers.
• Excellent planning and execution skills with a commitment to deliver personally and through others.
• Demonstrated people leadership and development skills including interpersonal, teamwork, mentoring, and communication skills.
• Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain strong, effective relationships and partnerships at all levels.
• Strong Project Management Fundamentals (PMF) skills.
• Demonstrated ability to create and execute strategic goals and roadmaps.
• Solid understanding of SW, Vision and HW development strategies and approaches (preferred).
• Systems integration experience (preferred).
• Previous management experience (preferred).
• Solid HP business acumen and organizational savvy (preferred).
• Familiarity with print quality evaluation, applications, and algorithms (preferred).
• Cross-cultural work experience (preferred).
