What you'll do

Design, implement, and test complex electro-mechanical systems including motor controls, batteries, and sensors.
Build hardware prototypes, analyze failures, and transition successful designs into production.
Perform trade studies and physics-based analysis to solve complex engineering problems.
Manage vendor relationships and conduct market research for component selection and integration.
Lead design reviews and execute comprehensive hardware test plans.
Support critical hardware demonstrations with customers at various test sites.
Evaluate new engineering concepts across a wide range of technical fields.

What we're looking for

Must have a BS, MS, or PhD in an engineering field, or equivalent work experience.
Must be eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearance.
Requires 3+ years of electrical/design experience in a professional setting.
Experience in PCB design using ECAD tools like Altium or KiCAD is required.
Must have hands-on prototyping skills including soldering, board assembly, and harnessing.
Required experience with controls, actuation, robotics, or motor/servo drive systems.
Must be familiar with microcontrollers, power conversion, and system integration.
Ability to read, interpret, and manipulate schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts is required.
