What you'll do

Lead full-cycle PCB design including requirements gathering, schematic design, component selection, layout supervision, and system integration.
Manage the bring-up and design of microcontrollers to ensure seamless integration within the overall system.
Troubleshoot complex issues across electrical and software boundaries using lab equipment and debugging tools.
Design and integrate power management systems and components for various subsystems.
Develop payloads and subsystems including sensors, networking interfaces, and power management.
Create system interconnect diagrams and define wire harnesses with appropriate wire and connector selection.
Conduct peer-level and cross-discipline design reviews to ensure technical accuracy across teams.

What we're looking for

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
8+ years of experience designing, testing, and troubleshooting complex system designs.
Ability to perform power system and electrical loading analysis, simulation, and testing.
Proficiency with lab test equipment including oscilloscopes, DMMs, logic/spectrum analyzers, and basic software debugging tools.
Familiarity with common electrical bus interfaces such as CAN, I2C, SPI, Ethernet, RS232/422, RS485, and USB.
Experience designing multi-layer mixed-signal PCBs with proper grounding, protection, and filtering.
Expertise in power design, management systems, and high/low voltage power electronics for cable harnessing designs.
Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. security clearance.
