As a Missile Tracking Systems Engineer (Space Force), you will join a cross-functional team within the Ground, Management and Integration program to develop and deploy ground operational systems for the Proliferated Warfighter Space Architecture. Your daily responsibilities include performing systems engineering by decomposing requirements into architecture and interface designs, managing situational awareness of satellite payloads, and analyzing and fusing missile tracking data from space to the ground for rapid dissemination. You will also identify opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement. The role requires expertise in algorithm development and tuning for specific mission parameters, as well as experience with sensor fusion techniques, cloud technologies, and image processing. This position focuses on solving complex problems related to tracking missiles and managing infrastructure for critical space defense systems.

What you'll do

Decompose requirements into architecture, internal/external interfaces, and system design behaviors.
Schedule and maintain situational awareness of satellite and payload capabilities to track missiles.

Develop and tune algorithms to solve complex problems based on specific mission parameters.

What we're looking for

U.S. citizenship is required.
Must possess a Top Secret security clearance with Polygraph eligibility at the time of hire.
Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology, or Mathematics field.
8 years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience.
Agile experience (preferred).
Experience designing and developing systems to solve complex problems using algorithms (preferred).
Recent algorithm development and tuning for specific mission parameters (preferred).
Experience with missile tracking systems design, sensor fusion, cloud technologies, or image processing (preferred).
